The mosque is truly captivating with its ottoman style, the architecture of French rococo influences with enchanting finishes of ornate of red, green, gold and a great enchanting dome.

It contains an ornate brass clock a gift from King Louis Philippe of France to Muhammad Ali in 1845 in exchange of an obelisk which stands in the Concorde square in Paris.
