Couple Get a Way

Egypt Tour Portals was simply amazing. Eveything from communicating before we arrive until we stepped off the plan and met our tour guide Ismail was so smooth. The knowledge that our guide had, fun facts and being able to answer our questions was impressive. Pyramids, Camel rides, Family perfume business, the foods, the fresh juices, and the Nile cruise made for a time to remember. Ismail personally even assisted and took the mission of celebrating my birthday off of my husband’s hands… It was so thoughtful. They set me up a private lunch at a restaurant with a cake, roses, rose petals and songs in arabic. Just when I thought it was over they arranged for the show on the cruise to include me and the whole ship suprised me and joined together in singing me happy birthday in english and filipino. The tour was 4 days we will never forget.

Amazing 4 day 3 night private tour of Cairo
In short, Egypt is the 18th country I have visited and I have always book a private tour in each country but this is the FIRST time I am taking the time to leave a review.
Our tour guide was Mohamed Elshemei and I would recommend him to everyone! I traveled with my husband and two small children, ages 5 and 4. Mohamed was SO patient with us and our children and the kids really clung to him. We let two days ago and they’re still talking about how much they love him. Mohamed was extremely knowledgeable and had an answer to every question I asked him. He was very catering and always tried his best to make up comfortable.
When we booked the tour, we were told we would get one queen bed and a spare bed (since there are four people) but when we got there, we only had the option for one queen bed or two twin sized beds. We said it was okay but Mohamed stayed at the hotel talking to the reception and phoning the travel agency to make sure things were made right. I have never experienced a tour guide with so much care and compassion. He even helped us book ubers throughout the night even after we have finished giving us tours. He was always available to answer any questions. I could tell that he really enjoyed what he does. I would recommend booking with Mohamed Elshemei 100%.
As far as the actual tour, I really enjoyed the itinerary that was provided. It ended at a decent hours and covered everything that I wanted to see. The only issue I had with this particular package, was with the hotel. The hotel staff was amazing but the hotel itself was not that great in my opinion. Other than that, the country itself was very safe and I had a lovely time.

Egypt Portal Tours Cairo
Egypt Portal Tours provided us with a great three day experience right from the start when we were greeted at the airport.
The hotel provided was excellent as was Mohamed our guide and Eassa the driver who were reliable and always on time.
All tours exceeded our expectations and Mohamed was very knowledgeable regarding Egypts ancient history.
Cairo has lots of history dating back a few thousand years BC. The pyramids alone were amazing as was the Cairo museum. The new $1 Billion dollar museum being finished now was paid for by Japan government does not open until early 2019 and will have even more artifacts. It is sure to exceed everyones expectations.
The price of our three day tour was very reasonable.
The only downfall was the extreme heat we experienced which was 40c during our four days in Cairo. Our next trip will be somewhere between November to March when the temperature is more comfortable.
We would certainly recommend this company to anyone and would like to thank Mohamed & Eassa for a great experience.

Great tour of Cairo
Our family has two small kids (3 and 6) and we did a 4 day tour of Cairo and Giza over spring break. The tour was great! We were met at the airport by our tour guide Mohamed and our driver Hamid, and they were with us for the entire trip. Mohamed was very knowledge about all the sites we visited and was flexible with our requested changes ( see above about two young kids). We would recommend this tour to anyone, but for those with young kids on a fixed timeline, there is no better way to explore these amazing cities.

“4-day Private Cairo tour with Reham”
Rewind to day 1 of inquiry with ETP. I sent an online request and Ahmad immediately replied with the itinerary, inclusions and amount. I requested for a female Egyptologist as we are an all-female group. I also requested that we stay in El Tahrir which is more urban and he willingly obliged. The mode of payment is through Paypal but my registered credit card had a problem and Ahmad confirmed our tour with zero deposit. How considerate!
When we arrived, their agent Adel escorted us to our lovely guide Reham and super funny driver Georges. Adel was kind of in a hurry, though, and we weren’t able to exchange our money and buy a sim card in the airport. But it wasn’t really a problem as Reham is kind enough to lend some of her pounds for tipping and we just paid her afterwards. And Georges was even more kind to lend us his spare simcard for the whole duration of our trip.
Our itinerary was definitely followed and meals are included. Reham was always with us making sure that we are taken care of. She is very professional – she comes on time and she is very knowledgeable. She tells us stories in a way that the story comes back to life and we are part of it! She is so cool too – she sang and danced with us in the van in between tours. She even taught us Egyptian songs and Arabic words. And Georges – he is one funny guy and is actually good in photography! We highly recommend them.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. Thanks to ETP for the hassle-free tour and for giving us Reham and Georges.

A great way to spend 3 nights! Well sorted ‘overall’ package including all the main attractions.

Stress free arrangement from airport walk through to visa…immigration.. luggage and to private transfer. All from the get go.

I wont go into the review of each location, as you can read up most on the web.

I will, however, review the service you will receive!

Communication, payments etc. A breeze and very responsive from head office. No concerns at all.

OVERALL RATING: 11 out of 10!

Driver: Always Courteous, well presented, on time and professional. With the chaotic Cairo traffic – never once felt unsafe!

Guide: Ahmed Dahab
Excellent guide with a masters in Egyptology – and it shows! Ahmed was patient with explanation of each location and most important facts, overall extremely knowledgeable – which was a pleasure, as this is key to understanding Egypt’s very rich history. I learnt alot!

Even got a few ‘local tips’ for the best seating place/venue for the Sphinx Light show! HINT, Dont pay for tickets…theres a better viewing place!

I would easily recommend Ahmed Dahab if you get a chance to visit Egypt!

If you dont like tour ‘groups’ the extra and go private with this team.

Ill be using them again next time!

“Amazing experience thanks to Egypt Tours Portal!”
My partner and I booked a 4 days/3 nights Cairo Highlights tour with Egypt Tours Portal. When we initially made inquiries with Egypt Tours Portal, we received very prompt responses to all our queries and concerns. They were able to personalise our tour to fit everything that we wanted. When we arrived in Cairo, we were greeted by our tour guide and driver. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Besides the main attractions of Egypt, our tour guide made our experience a very memorable one. In the few days we had in Egypt, we were able to experience the traditional Egyptian culture and a variety of delicious and authentic foods. Throughout the whole tour, Egypt Tours Portal took care of everything – transport, accommodation, visiting attractions and much more. We are very happy with the high level of customer service provided by Egypt Tours Portal.
