Egypt trip

It was our first visit to Egypt and I’d highly recommend the help of a Tour Guide. We had the privilege of having Mr.Mohamed Elshemei as our English Tour Guide and might I add, his English is excellent and he is polite, trustworthy, punctual and pleasant.

Our holiday started off with 3 days in Cairo, followed by 3 days of Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor and 2 days in Luxor.

Mr.Mohamed Elshemei was sensitive to our needs, has impeccable manners and is such a gentleman!

Mr.Mohamed Elshemei took the most
beautiful pictures of us wherever we went and he only stopped at places which were government approved with guaranteed products . He is aware of security issues and very knowledgeable.
Egypt portal tours was very responsive and accommodating in finalizing our Egypt trip.

Egypt Tour

Egypt portal tours was very responsive and accommodating in finalizing our Egypt adventure. Mahmoud Nour who was with us during our Nile river cruise from Aswan to Luxor was amazing. He was very honest and was always looking out for our best interest from shopping to seeing the most beautiful part of all the temples we visited. He treated us more than just a tourist in his country. In the end we gained a friend from Egypt.

Way Beyond Expectations

Wow, where do I start?

Egypt was ever so much more than expected. I was traveling with a young acting group of 40 – 50 year olds. We wanted an adventurous and active tour which we got with this tour company.

Ahmed Galal was our guide from Aswan to Luxor (his home town). He is very passionate about relaying the 5,000 year old Egyptian history and answering each and every question with enthusiasm. He ended up taking us personally to all the sites as we all toured well together. I would ask for him when planning your trip.

Surprises each day for us….

A hot air balloon ride over and down the Nile

Camel ride amongst the great Pyramids

Valley of the Kings

Perfume and Alabaster Factory

Nile River Cruise

Guides and Drivers bring Egypt full Circle

Overall, I can’t recommend this group enough for a full trip through Egypt. We scheduled an eight-day itinerary and it covered all attractions, flights, drivers, guides and many meals as well. The tour was exceptional because we were only a couple and weren’t cobbled together with other people.
In Cairo, Emy was a Star! She opened our trip with an excellent overview of Egyptian history, repeating key facts and names that stuck with us for the rest of the trip. She always knew people and other guides everywhere we went which made us feel safe and comfortable. She answered any questions we had and always gave us options to rest, have additional free time, or make changes as we desired.
In Hurghada, we stayed at an all inclusive resort and didn’t have a guide. The resort was massive and had lots of amenities that we enjoyed, but we mainly stuck to the pool and beach. I will say this hotel was a little dated, but that was mainly noticeable because the other hotels we stayed at were so exceptional.
In Luxor, Omar was the best. He grew up there, so he had so much more additional information beyond the standard tour guide. When we would walk around with him, he was like a shield from being hustled by anyone on the street. Omar was very knowledgeable and willing to schedule additional tour locations that we decided to do last minute. He even walked us to different dinner locations that he suggested after our tour was over, just because he was helpful.
I would definitely recommend this group to anyone looking for a day trip, but I believe we really gained a lot by having them take care of our entire stay in Egypt. As a group, they always would review the next steps of the journey as well as being you fresh water bottles! Thanks so much!

I want to thank “Egypt tours portal” because from the moment we arrived in Cairo we felt supported we had our representative making the visas and took care of all necessary paperwork. The driver was already waiting for us and Nacho, our private guide archaeologist, a fully instructed guide with great knowledge of the history, I also want to give Thanks to Ramsey, our second guide who waited for us in Aswan and showed us so many wonders in Luxor, including the magnificent Abu Samuel Bun Sambel Temple. These professional archaeologists provided us with a lot of information. The most important was to feel guided and safe in a unknown Country and language to us. Thank Egypt Tours Portal!!!

“Perfect Holiday.”
We booked a week long trip from London with Egypt Portal tours. I had a very specific itinerary in mind and Ahmad made it all work very smoothly, especially important as we took our two children. We visited Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and relaxed a few days in Hurghada and took a snorkelling trip on a lovely boat. Everything was amazingly well organised and Egypt Portal Guides are very knowledgable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We can’t recommend Ahmad and his team highly enough! Thank you!

“Best English Tour Guide in Cairo”
It was our first visit to Egypt and I’d highly recommend the help of a Tour Guide. We had the privilege of having Ahmad Sameer as our English Tour Guide and might I add, his English is excellent, he has a Masters Degree in History and he is polite, trustworthy, punctual and pleasant.
Our holiday started off with 3 days in Cairo, followed by 5 days of Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
Ahmed was sensitive to our needs, has impeccable manners and is such a gentleman! He took us to the Flower Cotton shop on the first day as we wanted to buy 100% Egyptian cotton clothes. He tipped the staff and we received excellent service! Wherever he took us, people could speak fluent English and we were treated as V.I.Ps. He paid for lunch when we didn’t have enough cash to try out the local schwarmas and he spoilt us with little surprises like a view over the city, which wasn’t included in our itinerary.
Ahmed took the most beautiful pictures of us wherever we went and he only stopped at places which were government approved with guaranteed products (Essence Museum, Papyrus Institute, Oriental Carpet School). He is aware of security issues and very knowledgeable.
We highly recommend Ahmad – especially since we had another tour guide in Aswan and then we realised what (who) we had!
