The majestic Great Pyramid is a living miracle that was commissioned by Pharaoh Khufu (2609–2584 BC), that was constructed around 2570 BC. Aligned precisely with the four cardinal points, it stands as the tallest pyramid on Earth, reaching a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 feet) and built from approximately 2.3 million limestone blocks, each averaging 2.6 tons. Featuring its own courtyard and intricate interior, it remains the only intact Wonder of the Ancient World.
The perplexing Great Sphinx is an immortal symbol of mystery, power, and wisdom, which was crafted by Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) to immortalize his image and eternally guard the Giza Pyramids. This monumental figure combines a lion's body with a human head, and nestled between its gigantic paws lies the revered Dream Stele of Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC).
The Valley Temple is one of the oldest monuments in giza, which served as a sacred hub for the mummification rituals of ancient Egyptian royalty. Here, the revered "Opening of the Mouth" ceremony was performed, a mystical rite believed to restore the senses and vitality of the deceased for the afterlife.

The Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza “The Gem” is an enormous new museum complex in the heart of Giza. The Ancient Nabataean capital in southern Jordan, known as Petr, was carved into rose-red cliffs which can be entered via the 1.2 km narrow Siq. It’s famed for rock-cut façades, ingenious water systems, and monumental tombs. It became a UNESCO site in 1985, and a New Seven Wonder in 2007, because it is able to epitomize ancient engineering and artistry.
Al Khazneh is Petra’s signature monument, which is 40 m-high, a 1st-century AD rock-cut façade (likely under King Aretas IV). It became very famous by appearing in a number of movies like Indinna jones and Transformers. The treasury has the power to showcase local and Hellenistic design. Its dramatic reveal at the end of the Siq makes it Petra’s most iconic sight and a hot spot for tourists from all over the world.
The cliffside group of royal Urn, Silk, Corinthian, Palace Tombs is highly diverse in appearance and aura, dating mainly to the 1st century AD. The tombs' varied façades reflect peak Nabataean wealth and craftsmanship; likely monumental burials for kings, Nabataean families, and elites, illuminating Petra’s funerary art and status.
Theatre of Petra is a rock-cut amphitheatre begun by the Nabataeans in the early 1st century AD, expanded after the Roman annexation (AD 106) to seat up to 7,000. Its form fuses Nabataean and Greco-Roman design, signaling Petra’s vibrant public and cultural life.
A major freestanding sandstone temple (30 BC–AD 40) dedicated to Nabataean deities (often Dushara and al-‘Uzza). With grand stairs and towering walls, it survives earthquakes and erosion, offering a rare view of Nabataean temple architecture.
After you have enjoyed your lunch, you will transfer to Wadi Rum (“Valley of the Moon”) for desert vistas and a dramatic sunset.
The heavenly Wadi Rum is a 720 km² protected desert two hours south of Petra, with sandstone massifs, red dunes, and rock arches that have been featured in a number of Hollywood movies like Dune, Indiana Jones, and others. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it preserves 12,000+ years of petroglyphs/inscriptions; visitors explore by 4×4, camel, or foot, often staying in Bedouin camps under spectacular night skies.
You will enjoy a fascinating traditional Bedouin camp, surrounded by the desert’s serenity and the magnificence of the star-filled skies, creating an extraordinary travel experience.

The Nabataean temple was built in the 1st century AD, when Wadi Rum thrived on caravan trade. This temple’s surviving walls and inscriptions testify to the Nabataean presence and echo Petra’s cultural and architectural influence throughout the region.
This magical spring was named for T. E. Lawrence (“Lawrence of Arabia”), who passed through during the Arab Revolt (1917–1918). This perennial spring, fringed by fig trees and marked with ancient Thamudic inscriptions that have sustained desert travelers for centuries and remains a powerful symbol of life in the sands.
The Khazali Canyon is a magnificent narrow atmospheric gorge whose rock walls are etched with Thamudic and Nabataean inscriptions. These vivid petroglyphs have the power to depict people, animals, and texts which underscore Wadi Rum’s role as a crossroads of cultures and desert tribes across the ages.
