3 day egypt highlights
This was a great way to visit Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and so much between each place. Our guides Amany and Emad were really good but Mohammed in Luxor was the very best. An unforgetable journey.

Tour of Luxor – Part of a 3 Day Tour of Egypt
Luxor itself is an amazing and beautiful city and would advise anyone travelling to Egypt to include it in their travel itinerary.
Our day with our guide Abdelrahman Ahmed Ali was sensational. He picked us up from the train from Aswan and immediately made us feel welcome in Luxor due to his kind manner. He catered the tour to all our needs and frequently checked if there was anything else we wanted or needed as well as adding in his own recommendations.
We started the day with a boat trip across the river Nile and a short drive to the Valley of the Kings. Abdel was knowledgeable and interesting when telling us about the Valley’s great history. We then visited Hatshepsut’s temple followed by a trip to a local alabaster house where we were shown how they handcraft their products. Another short drive later, via a small shop to try some sugar cane juice, we arrived at the Karnak temple. We followed this with a lovely traditional Egyptian meal. An amazing day all around with a fantastic tour guide.
Thank you Abdel for your wonderful knowledge, kindness and for making today a day we will never forget.
