It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.  The Great Sphinx:The Great Sphinx belongs to “King Chephren” It is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture. |

Amazing half day tour of Cairo
My wife and I had a short layover at Cairo (9 hours) so we decided to book a half day tour to explore the Giza Pyramids and also take a brief tour of Al-Azhar street to explore the local culture. To say it simply, this was the best decision I made.
The tour company arranged for someone to meet us before we even got to the getting our visas. They helped us inside the airport and put us in touch with our dedicated driver and tour guide (Ibrahim Eldeeb). From this point on I was thoroughly impressed by Ibrahim’s extensive knowledge and also willingness to go above and beyond in telling us about the history and also being a great companion (he is also an excellent photographer and knows all the best poses and spots!).
This is a must recommend if you are really want a smooth experience in Egypt. Because of Ibrahim all those pushy sales people kept away from us (and we didn’t fall into any scams etc.). They delivered what they promised to me and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thanks!

“The Very Best!”
I visited last month with a friend. We had a packed itinerary but nothing was too much for our guide. We were every day transported back into time with stories told and mesmerised by the fabulous pyramids, Sphinx and local culture.
Even our stop for coffee was an out of the ordinary experience of the five star variety!

“Fantastic beyond our expectations!”
My husband and I are Americans and we went to Egypt and used https://www.egypttoursportal.com/ as tour operator. We could not have been more pleased with our entire experience! Everything from using Ahmad’s fantastic website to going on the entire tour with him could not have been any better. One of the places Ahmad took us to was the Great Pyramid. It was so impressive, and I will remember it for the rest of my life. He knew all the history of it and explained it all. Then we walked around and took pictures. It was a fantastic trip, we will remember it always. It would not have been so great if we hadn’t had Ahmad as our tour guide.
We have such great memories of our trip to Egypt. We talk about it all the time, and besides having my children, it was one of the best experiences of my life. I will never forget it and hope to go back someday!
