Day Two: Uncover the Wealth of Ancient Relics of Egypt
You will begin the second day of your Egypt Easter adventure by enjoying your breakfast and checking out from the hotel, then join your private tour guide to discover the wonders of ancient Egypt, starting with:
All the golden heritage of the Old Kingdom can be explored in the Giza Pyramids complex that houses the greatest monuments ever created in history since 2600 BC for and by the 4th dynasty.
The Great Pyramid is a golden archaeological monument showcasing the epic legacy of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC), who was able to create the only standing member of the seven wonders of the ancient ages. It was established in 2570 BC as the tallest monument in existence at 138.5 meters (454.4 ft), which lasted for 3800 years. The main architect, Hemiunu, provided the pyramid with the most advanced interior design.
The Pyramid of Khafre rises like a crown of eternity from the golden sands of the legendary Giza Plateau, echoing the power, mystery, and divine ambition of Egypt’s Old Kingdom. Built for King Khafre of the 4th Dynasty, this majestic wonder may stand slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid of Khufu, yet its elevated position grants it a breathtaking presence, as if it were watching over the desert horizon with royal pride. Still crowned with remnants of its original limestone casing, the pyramid glows with a surviving touch of ancient brilliance, preserving the timeless magic, sacred mystery, and architectural genius of ancient Egypt.
The Pyramid of Menkaure shines as the smallest yet most graceful jewel among Giza’s three immortal pyramids, built for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty as a refined masterpiece of royal elegance and Old Kingdom artistry. Its harmonious proportions, gentle beauty, and traces of original granite casing give it a rare charm, as though the desert itself protects its quiet majesty.
The biggest man-made structure ever made in history is the powerful and wise Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC), which has his face on a giant lion body and has Thutmose IV’s dream Steele narrating the story of a lifetime.
The majestic Valley Temple was made by the 4th dynasty to perform the Opening of the Mouth funerary religious ritual, which is known as the mummification process, on all the members who were buried in the great pyramids of Giza.
Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then we will move to visit:
The Grand Egyptian Museum is a celestial billion-dollar epicenter of all the magnificent archaeological wonders of ancient Egypt that is aligned with the celestial pyramids of Giza and spans nearly 490,000 square meters. It serves as a gateway to 5,000 years of history, illuminating the artistry, spirituality, and enduring legacy of ancient Egypt for generations to come. It is built to provide the ability to showcase ancient Egypt through modern innovation, advanced architecture, artistic sense, and immersive storytelling.
Finally, you will drive to Cairo airport, then catch your flight to Aswan, then check in at a 5* hotel for the overnight.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Flight: From Cairo to Aswan
Overnight: Aswan Hotel
Day Three: Unleash Your Spirit with the Scenic Splendors of Aswan
In the morning, you will have your breakfast and continue your Egypt easter vacation by joining your private Egyptologist tour guide around all Aswan tourist attractions such as:
The golden High Dam is an innovative work of architecture and technology that opened the door to the industrial age, enabling Egypt to create hydroelectricity and discover water in the artificial lake of Nasser.
One of the most captivating works of art found in the golden lands of Aswan is the mesmerizing unfinished obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. It was made to pierce the skies and stand at the temple of Karnak. It was broken during the carving process, which was meant to become the biggest obelisk in Egypt at a height of 41.75 meters (137.0 ft) and 1000 tons of total weight.
You will enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant in Aswan to get ready to complete your day by visiting:
The greatest archaeological monument ever created in existence as it holds the most incredible mythical tale in history Philae Temple, which was created in the Greco-Roman period between 380-362 BC to become the worship house of Motherhood. Across all of its magical walls is the epic story of the myth of Osiris, who was betrayed and killed by his brother Set and resurrected by his wife.
You will then check in at a 5* Aswan hotel to spend your overnight.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Aswan Hotel
Day Four: Witness the Grandeur of Abu Simbel
Check out early from your hotel and receive breakfast boxes before beginning your journey to Abu Simbel by modern air-conditioned vehicle.
The golden archaeological wonder of Ozymandias Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BC) is the greatest work of art that stood the test of time. The temple was completed in 1274 BC, which showcases the grand battle of Kadesh, which concluded in the signing of the first documented peace treaty in existence. The sun festivals that occur on the 22nd of February and October honor the blessings of Amun, Ptah, and RaโHorakhty, where the sun shines on their faces.
Finally, return to Aswan to have your lunch.
Later, board your first-class train to Luxor, allowing you to experience Upper Egypt’s landscape in a calmer and more traditional travel atmosphere while avoiding exhausting same-day morning transfers.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: Luxor Hotel
Day Five: The Incredible Marvels of Luxor
In day five, you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then start another part of your Easter holiday in Egypt and explore all the famous Luxor tourist attractions such as:
The mythical Valley of the Kings is a magical final resting place showcasing the golden heritage of the greatest rulers of the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC). The valley is located in the Theban necropolis; the underground contains 63 tombs of Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Thutmose, Amenhotep, Ramses the Great, and more, showcasing the historical and archaeological legacy of that time period.
The divine temple of Hatshepsut is a majestic and graceful archaeological monument dating to 1479 BC. It was created for the sole purpose of honoring the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) by immortalizing all her achievements and innovations. It is one of the most preserved monuments, as it was carved in the rocky hills of Deir El Bahari plus it honored the gifts and protection of Amun.
One of the most enchanting pieces of New Kingdom architecture ever made is the golden seated statues of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) Colossi of Memnon, which were established in 1350 BC. The colossi are about 18 m (60 ft) tall and weigh 720 tons each. Across the seats of the statues are 107 Roman-era Latin and Greek inscriptions displaying the tale of Memnon, the mythological hero.
Then move to have your lunch on an island, so your tour includes a boat trip on the Nile River followed by a tour to:
The greatest and biggest religious compound on earth is the golden Karnak temple complex, which was established between 1971 BC and 20 BC in the magical heart of Thebes and honors the many royal blessings of the 18th dynasty Theban triad of Mut, Amun, and Khonsu by offering sacrifices at their shrines. The most artistic works of architecture ever made are the hypostyle hall, the avenue of sphinxes, and many more.
Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer comfortably to your hotel for your final overnight in Egypt.
