Giza Pyramids Complex

All the golden heritage of the Old Kingdom can be explored in the Giza Pyramids complex that houses the greatest monuments ever created in history since 2600 BC for and by the 4th dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid is a golden archaeological monument showcasing the epic legacy of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC), who was able to create the only standing member of the seven wonders of the ancient ages. Pyramid of Khafre

The Great Sphinx

The Unfinished Obelisk

One of the most captivating works of art found in the golden lands of Aswan is the mesmerizing unfinished obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. It was made to pierce the skies and stand at the temple of Karnak. It was broken during the carving process, which was meant to become the biggest obelisk in Egypt at a height of 41.75 meters (137.0 ft) and 1000 tons of total weight.

Abu Simbel Temples

The golden archaeological wonder of Ozymandias Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BC) is the greatest work of art that stood the test of time. The temple was completed in 1274 BC, which showcases the grand battle of Kadesh, which concluded in the signing of the first documented peace treaty in existence. The sun festivals that occur on the 22nd of February and October honor the blessings of Amun, Ptah, and Ra‑Horakhty, where the sun shines on their faces.

Hatshepsut Temple

The divine temple of Hatshepsut is a majestic and graceful archaeological monument dating to 1479 BC. It was created for the sole purpose of honoring the legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) by immortalizing all her achievements and innovations. It is one of the most preserved monuments, as it was carved in the rocky hills of Deir El Bahari plus it honored the gifts and protection of Amun.

Colossi of Memnon

One of the most enchanting pieces of New Kingdom architecture ever made is the golden seated statues of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) Colossi of Memnon, which were established in 1350 BC. The colossi are about 18 m (60 ft) tall and weigh 720 tons each. Across the seats of the statues are 107 Roman-era Latin and Greek inscriptions displaying the tale of Memnon, the mythological hero.
