Giza Pyramids Complex

The Great Pyramid

The magnificent Great Pyramid of Khufu  (2609 BC - 2584 BC) is an immortal piece of brilliance and power that was completed in 2570 BC to stand the test of time and become one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the tallest building on earth at 147 m (481 ft) for over 3800 years. The main and prime architect, Henmiunu, used 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing about 2.5 tons, to make a reality and design a magical interior filled with rooms like the king’s chamber, the grand hall, and more.

The Great Sphinx

The majestic Sphinx is a golden piece of art made to radiate pure wisdom and power. It has the shape of a giant lion and the face of King Khafre (2558–2532 BC). It is by far the oldest monumental sculpture in existence, which has a length of 73 meters (240 ft), a height of 20 meters (66 ft), and a width of 19 meters (62 ft). In 1401 BC, the magical dream Steele was added between his paws.

The Valley Temple

At the end of the day, you will head to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan, and upon arrival, you will check into your hotel reservation in Aswan for the overnight.

Abu Simbel Temples

The majestic Abu Simbel Temples are magical creations of glory that were made to honor the great legacy of Ramses II (1279-1213 BC), who was able to accomplish many great achievements, as seen in the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BC, which finished in the signing of the first documented peace treaty. The smaller temple of Abu Simbel honors his wife Nefertari. The Temple is celebrated on the 22 of February & October of each year in the Sun Festival to honor the birthday and coronation of Ramses the Great by waiting for the sun rays to shine on the seated statues of Ramses II, Ptah (God of creation), Amun (The Creator God), and Ra (Sun God).

Aswan High Dam

The magical Aswan High Dam is a very unique attraction that shifted the economic level of Egypt in the 60s and 70s, as it was responsible for saving water in the artificial lake of Nasser and generating Hydroelectricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Golden Unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) was designed to stand the test of time and price of the skies as it was destined to be 42 m and weigh 1200 tons, but it was broken in the carving process as it was meant to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple.

Colossi of Memnon

The enduring and immortal grand statues of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) were meant for greatness and stood 18 m (60 ft) tall. The Colossi of Memnon hold many amazing facts about the king, and there are 107 Roman-era Latin and Greek inscriptions that tell epic tales about the mythical hero Memnon.

The glorious National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is the first-ever museum in the Arab world that is dedicated to Egyptian history and culture.
