At Egypt Tours Portal, clear payment and cancellation terms are part of the travel experience. We want every guest to understand how their booking is confirmed, how payments are handled, and what happens if plans need to change.
This policy applies to tours, travel packages, Nile cruises, shore excursions, day trips, customized Egypt itineraries, and any other services confirmed through Egypt Tours Portal.
By confirming a booking and submitting a deposit or payment, the guest confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the terms below, including any supplier-specific conditions shared before confirmation.
A booking is officially confirmed only when all of the following steps are complete:
Once the booking is confirmed, we begin securing the services included in the program. These may include hotels, Nile cruises, domestic flights, guides, vehicles, restaurants, admission fees, special permits, and other confirmed arrangements.
A quotation, discussion, or verbal interest does not hold availability or price. Availability and rates are secured only after payment is received and confirmation is issued in writing.
The required deposit depends on the tour type, travel period, number of travelers, supplier conditions, and services included.
For multi-day Egypt travel packages, the usual deposit is 25% to 50% of the total tour cost. The exact amount depends on the hotel category, Nile cruise, domestic flights, travel dates, and supplier rules.
For separate day tours or overland tours that do not include hotel accommodation or domestic flights, the usual deposit is approximately 25% of the total tour cost.
For shore excursions, the usual deposit is approximately 25% of the total tour cost to secure the guide, vehicle, permits, port arrangements, and included services.
For tours including domestic flights, payment is required before ticketing. Once issued, domestic flight tickets are subject to airline rules and may be non-refundable or partially refundable.
Luxury tours, high-end hotels, Christmas, New Year, Easter, large groups, special events, special access visits, or high-demand dates may require a higher deposit, often 50% or more. Some services may require full prepayment if suppliers request it.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms shown in the confirmed quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the balance may be paid:
If the final balance is not paid on time, some arrangements may be delayed, suspended, cancelled, or released by suppliers, depending on their terms.
Egypt Tours Portal may accept the following payment methods:
For security, guests should never send full card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive card details by email, WhatsApp, or social media. Card payments must be completed only through the secure payment link or approved payment gateway provided by Egypt Tours Portal.

Prices are usually quoted in USD unless another currency is clearly stated in writing.
Any bank transfer fees, intermediary bank charges, currency conversion costs, or card processing fees are the responsibility of the guest unless otherwise agreed in writing. If a card or payment gateway fee applies, it will be communicated before payment is completed.
If payment is made in a currency different from the quoted currency, the amount will be calculated according to the exchange rate applied by the bank, payment gateway, or Egypt Tours Portal at the time of payment.
Once the booking is confirmed and the required deposit is received, the agreed price remains valid for the services confirmed in writing. This gives the guest price clarity and protects the confirmed booking from regular price changes.
Price stability does not apply to:
If a price adjustment is required, it will be explained clearly before the change is applied.

We understand that travel plans can change. Guests may request amendments to their confirmed itinerary, such as changes to travel dates, hotel category, number of travelers, room type, activities, flights, cruise schedule, or tour arrangements.
All amendment requests must be sent in writing. Egypt Tours Portal will do its best to help, subject to availability, supplier approval, airline rules, hotel and Nile cruise policies, seasonal restrictions, operational feasibility, and any cost difference caused by the change.
If suppliers charge amendment fees or if the revised service costs more, the guest will be responsible for the additional amount..
Some services may become non-refundable, partially refundable, or subject to penalties once they are confirmed. These may include:
If a cancellation or amendment affects a non-refundable supplier cost, that amount will be deducted from any eligible refund.

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing. The cancellation date is the date Egypt Tours Portal receives the written request.
Cancellation charges depend on the timing of cancellation, tour type, travel season, and supplier conditions.
For bookings outside Christmas, New Year, Easter, and other peak periods, the following cancellation scale may apply:

Domestic flights, hotel gala dinners, Nile cruises, special event bookings, and non-refundable supplier costs may be charged separately.
A no-show occurs when a guest does not arrive, does not join the confirmed tour, fails to meet the guide or representative at the agreed time and place, or misses a confirmed service without prior written notice.
In a no-show situation, no refund will be provided for the missed service. This may include airport transfers, day tours, domestic flights, Nile cruise embarkation, hotel stays, shore excursions, train tickets, admission fees, prepaid meals, or special arrangements.
Guests are responsible for sharing accurate flight details and notifying Egypt Tours Portal as soon as possible if any flight time changes, delays, cancellations, or missed connections occur.
We will do our best to adjust the arrangements where possible. However, additional costs may apply if changes require new transfers, guide waiting time, hotel changes, domestic flight changes, or rearranged services.
If a guest misses a domestic flight, train, cruise departure, or scheduled service due to late arrival or personal delay, Egypt Tours Portal will assist with alternatives where possible, but the related costs will be the guest’s responsibility.

Eligible refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original payment whenever possible.
Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy, supplier refund rules, bank processing time, payment gateway rules, currency conversion differences, and any non-refundable costs already paid to suppliers.
Refund processing may take time depending on the bank, payment gateway, supplier refund cycle, and international transfer procedures. Egypt Tours Portal is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card companies, payment gateways, or other financial institutions.
Once a tour has started, unused services are not refundable unless approved in writing by Egypt Tours Portal and the relevant supplier. This includes missed meals, missed visits, unused transfers, unused hotel nights, or early departure.
Guests may request to postpone their trip to a later date. Postponement requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to supplier approval, new travel dates, availability, price differences, airline rules, hotel and Nile cruise conditions, seasonal supplements, and any non-refundable supplier costs.
If Egypt Tours Portal approves a postponement, the amount already paid may be transferred as credit toward the new travel date after deducting any supplier charges or non-refundable costs.
If the guest later cancels the postponed trip, the cancellation policy will apply based on the original booking terms and supplier conditions.
If a guest has a concern about payment, service delivery, cancellation, or refund eligibility, they should contact Egypt Tours Portal directly so the matter can be reviewed and handled professionally.
By confirming a booking and making payment, the guest agrees not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback for services that were properly confirmed, arranged, delivered, or subject to the stated cancellation policy.
In the case of an unjustified chargeback, Egypt Tours Portal reserves the right to provide the bank, payment processor, or card issuer with relevant documentation, including the booking confirmation, approved itinerary, invoice, payment confirmation, communication records, supplier confirmations, proof of service delivery, policy acceptance, and refund or cancellation calculation.
If a chargeback causes financial loss, bank penalties, dispute fees, or administrative costs, Egypt Tours Portal reserves the right to recover these costs where legally permitted.
Egypt Tours Portal strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before traveling.
Travel insurance should ideally cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, travel delays, missed flights, baggage loss, personal accidents, emergency evacuation, supplier failure, unexpected illness, and force majeure events.
Egypt Tours Portal is not responsible for costs that could have been covered by travel insurance.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas, permits, and travel documents required for entry into Egypt and for any other destination included in their trip.
Passports should usually be valid for at least six months from the arrival date, but travelers should always check the latest requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, airline, or official authority.
Egypt Tours Portal may provide general guidance, but the final responsibility for travel documents remains with the guest. No refund will be provided if a guest is denied boarding, denied entry, or unable to travel because of invalid, expired, incomplete, or incorrect documents.
Guests should inform Egypt Tours Portal before confirmation of any health conditions, mobility limitations, allergies, dietary restrictions, medical needs, pregnancy, or special assistance requirements that may affect the travel arrangements.
We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests, subject to availability, supplier ability, local conditions, and operational feasibility.
Some historical sites in Egypt involve walking, uneven ground, stairs, heat exposure, crowds, or limited accessibility. Guests should review the itinerary carefully and ask any comfort-related questions before confirming.

For families with children, senior travelers, or guests needing additional comfort considerations, Egypt Tours Portal can recommend a more suitable pace, hotel standard, room arrangement, and touring rhythm.
Guests should share any specific needs in advance so the team can plan responsibly. If important requirements are not shared before confirmation, it may be difficult to adjust the tour later.
Egypt Tours Portal aims to deliver all services as confirmed. However, changes may sometimes be necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. These may include domestic flight schedule changes, Nile cruise sailing schedule changes, hotel availability changes, road conditions, weather, security restrictions, government decisions, attraction closures, river navigation changes, supplier operational changes, or force majeure events.
In these situations, Egypt Tours Portal will arrange the best possible alternative while keeping the overall value and main sightseeing visits of the itinerary wherever possible.
Domestic flights and Nile cruise schedules in Egypt are subject to airline operation, cruise company schedules, availability, and local conditions.
The order of sightseeing may be adjusted to match flight timing, Nile cruise sailing schedules, attraction opening hours, road and river conditions, and local operational requirements.
Any necessary changes will be arranged carefully while keeping the confirmed sightseeing visits included whenever possible.
Hotel and Nile cruise names listed in quotations are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. If a listed hotel or cruise is not available, Egypt Tours Portal may offer a similar alternative of comparable category, location, and service level, subject to availability.
Hotel ratings in Egypt are based on local classification standards and may differ from standards in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, or other international markets.
Based on guest feedback, Egypt Tours Portal usually recommends 5-star or luxury 5-star accommodation for travelers who want a more comfortable experience.

Meals are included only when stated in the confirmed itinerary.
Unless specifically mentioned, beverages such as bottled water, soft drinks, fresh juices, tea, coffee, alcoholic drinks, and drinks on board Nile cruises are not included.
Special dietary requests can be shared before travel, and Egypt Tours Portal will communicate them to restaurants, hotels, and cruise suppliers where possible. Special meals remain subject to supplier ability and availability.
Optional tours, upgrades, special access visits, additional meals, room upgrades, guide extensions, extra transfers, special events, and any services not included in the confirmed itinerary will be charged separately.
Optional services are subject to availability and may require advance booking or additional payment.

Group bookings may have special payment and cancellation terms depending on group size, hotel room blocks, domestic flights, restaurant arrangements, coach services, special events, peak season dates, and supplier conditions.
Group deposits may be non-refundable or partially refundable depending on supplier agreements. A final rooming list, passport details, and flight details may be required by a specific deadline.
If payment is made by someone other than the traveler, Egypt Tours Portal may request additional verification for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
Egypt Tours Portal reserves the right to reject or request confirmation for payments that appear suspicious, incomplete, mismatched, or inconsistent with the booking details.
To protect guests and the company, Egypt Tours Portal may verify payment details, guest identity, billing information, and booking information before confirming services.
Egypt Tours Portal will never ask guests to send full card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive card details through email, WhatsApp, or social media messages. Online card payments should be completed only through approved secure payment channels.
Egypt Tours Portal is not responsible for failure, delay, change, cancellation, or additional cost caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, war or civil unrest, terrorism or security events, government restrictions, epidemics or pandemics, airline disruption, airport closure, road closure, cruise navigation restrictions, strikes, supplier failure, unexpected attraction closure, or any event that prevents normal travel operation.
In these cases, Egypt Tours Portal will do its best to assist guests and rearrange services where possible. Any additional supplier costs may be the responsibility of the guest.
Egypt Tours Portal acts as a travel agency and destination management company arranging services through hotels, Nile cruises, airlines, restaurants, guides, drivers, attraction authorities, and other travel suppliers.
Egypt Tours Portal is responsible for arranging the confirmed services with care and professionalism. However, Egypt Tours Portal is not responsible for loss, delay, injury, damage, accident, change, or cancellation caused by third-party suppliers, government authorities, airlines, weather, force majeure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude responsibility where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, drivers, hotel staff, cruise staff, restaurant staff, local communities, and fellow travelers.
Egypt Tours Portal reserves the right to refuse service or end participation in a tour if a guest’s behavior causes danger, harassment, repeated disruption, abuse, damage, or risk to others. No refund will be provided for services missed because of unacceptable conduct.
Guests are welcome to take photos during their trip unless photography is restricted by site regulations, security rules, or local authorities.
Egypt Tours Portal may request permission to use guest feedback, reviews, or travel photos for marketing purposes. Such use will only be made with guest consent where required.
By confirming a booking and making payment, the guest confirms that they accept:
Guests are encouraged to read this policy carefully before making payment and to ask Egypt Tours Portal for clarification on any point before confirming the booking.
