Giza Pyramids Complex

The celestial Giza Pyramids Complex is a colossal monument made in 2600 BC by royal figures who wished to reach the heavens and immortalize their names for endless ages to come.

The Great Pyramid

The only remaining and intact wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world is the Great Pyramid, which was designed by Hemiunu, the main architect of King Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC), to become his resting place before entering the heavens. It was completed in 2570 BC using 400000 free workers and 3.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing a total of 6 million tons, and was known as the tallest monument on earth for over 3800 years at 138.5 meters (454.4 ft).

Pyramid of Khafre

The Pyramid of Khafre rises as one of the most commanding masterpieces of the Giza Plateau, built for King Khafre of the 4th Dynasty during the golden age of Old Kingdom pyramid construction. Although it is slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid of Khufu, its elevated location gives it a more dominant presence across the desert skyline, while the surviving limestone casing near its summit offers a rare glimpse of the brilliant white surface that once covered Egypt’s royal pyramids. 

Pyramid of Menkaure

The Pyramid of Menkaure carries a refined elegance that makes it one of the most distinctive monuments on the plateau. The smallest of the three pyramids was built for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty, it is admired for its graceful proportions, balanced design, and surviving traces of original granite casing that once added strength and beauty to its lower levels. 

The Great Sphinx

King Chephren (2558–2532 BC) was successful in immortalizing his wise and powerful character and name across the ages by creating the Sphinx by carving his face on the body of a lion. The famous and monumental sculpture of Egypt has a length of 73 meters (240 ft), a height of 20 meters (66 ft), and a width of 19 meters (62 ft). Even in the New Kingdom, the Dream Stele was added in 1401 BC between his legs to show his everlasting heritage.

The Valley Temple

The Mythical center of immortality, the Valley Temple was established as a golden archaeological masterpiece that was made for and by the 4th dynasty to perform the opening of the mouth ceremony and complete the mummification process.

It was made in the  Hellenistic era between 180 BC and 47 BC to honor the source of the Nile Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris on both sides of the temple. All the scenes and artworks found in the temple include the most important medical and astronomical tools ever made in that period

Edfu Temple

The magical temple of Victory Edfu Temple is a golden miracle that is highly preserved and made between 237 BC and 57 BC on the battleground of the mythical war between Horus and Set. It served as the worship center of Horus the god of divine protection and victory. All the artwork of the temple is able to uncover the art, religion, language, and myth of the ancient Egyptians.

Valley of the Kings

Within the golden mythical lands of Theban Necropolis is the Valley of the Kings found in the belly of Thebes which uncovered great facts about the mentality, way of life, and beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. It holds 63 tombs that belong to incredible royals, queens, and kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties who lived during the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC). Some of the most famous names include Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Seti I, Hatshepsut, Amenhotep I, Tutankhamun, and more.

Hatshepsut Temple

The legendary Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) was successful in immortalizing her heritage by directing her main overseer of the works and vizier Senenmut to complete her three levels of temples in 1479 BC which hold many incredible statues of her in the shape of Amun and amazing artworks showcasing the life cycle of royal figures from coronation till the time of rebirth.

Colossi of Memnon

The grand colossi of Memnon of king Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) are giant statues has stood their ground for many ages when it was completed in 1350 BC. It has a total height of 18 m (60 ft) and holds across its sides many images and 107 inscriptions in ancient languages uncovering many tales about his history.

Karnak Temple

The greatest religious ancient compound on earth is the epic Karnak temple complex house of the gods which was established between 1971 BC and 30 BC to serve the shrines of Mut, Khunso, and Amun of the 18th dynasty. The Karnak has the power to exhibit a great deal of information about the history and beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The golden National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is one of the only temples dedicated to the 5000 years old Egyptian civilization of Egypt which is found in Fustat and opened to the public in 2020. Within the museum are about 20 mummies and over 50,000 artifacts taken from the various rich culture and histories of Egypt.

Hanging Church

The Hanging Church is a holy house of miracles known to be one of the most treasured landmarks of Coptic Cairo, rising above the southern gatehouse of the ancient Roman Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo. Deeply connected with Egypt’s early Christian heritage and the sacred memory of the Holy Family’s journey, this remarkable church later became a major center of the Coptic Orthodox Church and served as the seat of the Coptic Patriarch for several centuries. With its elevated setting, wooden ceiling shaped like Noah’s Ark, precious icons, marble pulpit, and peaceful spiritual atmosphere, the Hanging Church stands as one of the most inspiring and significant Christian monuments in Egypt.

It acts as a headquarters of many Egyptian artisans and workshops that produce the finest souvenirs and crafts, all based on ancient Egyptian mythology and history.
