Giza Pyramids Complex

The illuminating archaeological wonder of Egypt, the Giza pyramids Complex has stood the test of time since its construction in 2600 BC by the 4th dynasty, so they can earn their rightful place in the heavens.

The Great Pyramid

The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three great pyramids of Giza, yet it carries a refined beauty that has fascinated visitors for centuries. It was made for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty around the 26th century BC, this elegant monument is admired for its balanced proportions, graceful design, and impressive craftsmanship. Its lower section was once covered with distinctive granite casing, traces of which still remain today, revealing the pyramid’s unique character and the artistic brilliance of ancient Egyptian royal architecture.

The Great Sphinx

One of the most famous man-made statues found on the face of the earth is the golden Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) that always radiates power, glory, and wisdom, which had his face and body of a prehistoric lion. The Sphinx is 73 meters (240 ft) long, 20 meters (66 ft) high, and 19 meters (62 ft) wide, and has the magical Dream Steele of Thutmose IV that was added to the New Kingdom in 1407 BC.
