The Hanging Church is a renowned Coptic church constructed above the southern gatehouse of the ancient Roman Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo, where the holy family once hid. It was transformed into an important center of the Coptic Orthodox Church and served as the seat of the Coptic Patriarch for several centuries. Its wooden ceiling, icons, marble pulpit, and elevated position have made it the most spiritual landmark in Coptic Cairo.
The heavenly Khan El-Khalili Bazaar is a magnificent street developed between 1382 and 1389 AD as a commercial hub created by the Mamluk kings. The celestial bazaar is the most excellent place in Egypt for doing some shopping, which is made by the most skilled artisans and merchants in Cairo.
