This ancient complex has stood for more than 4,500 years and includes the three main pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, several smaller queens’ pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid of King Khufu is the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. This mysterious marvel was built around 2580 BC from 2.3 m pieces of limestone, each weighing 2.5 tons, and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers. It remained the tallest man-made structure on earth for thousands of years, reaching a height of 147 m (481 ft) and continues to fascinate visitors with its scale, precision, and mystery.
The Great Sphinx the master of wisdom and might, is one of Egypt’s most glorious and remarkable statues ever created in the history of the world. Carved from a single gigantic limestone rock, it combines the body of a lion with the head of a king, traditionally associated with Khafre, symbolizing royal power, wisdom, and protection.
The Valley Temple of King Khafre is a gateway to heaven, one of the best-preserved monuments of the Old Kingdom (2686 - 2134 BC). It is made of from limestone and granite, it is closely connected with ancient Egyptian funerary rituals and offers valuable insight into royal Mummification Process practices.
After exploring the Giza Plateau, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo before continuing to:
Saqqara Step Pyramid is one of the oldest archaeological monuments ever made in existence, which launched the golden age of pyramid building. Designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep around 2700 BC, this pyramid is considered the earliest major stone pyramid in Egypt and the beginning of the pyramid-building age.
At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Inside, visitors are immersed in the brilliance of ancient Egyptian civilization through extraordinary displays of art, belief, and craftsmanship. Among its highlights are the impressive Hanging Obelisk, the towering 11-meter statue of Ramses II, and the complete collection of more than 5,000 artifacts belonging to King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time.
Beyond its exhibition halls, the GEM is also a leading center for preservation and research, housing one of the largest conservation facilities in the Middle East, along with advanced laboratories and educational spaces dedicated to safeguarding Egypt’s heritage for future generations.

Known in ancient Egypt as Ipet-isu, meaning “The Most Selected of Places,” and Pr-Imn, meaning “The House of Amun,” Karnak Temple is one of the largest religious complexes ever built by human hands. Its construction and expansion continued for more than 4,000 years, and for over 1,500 years it served as one of the most important spiritual centers of ancient Egypt. The complex honored many deities, including Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis, but it was mainly dedicated to the Theban Triad: Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, the moon god.
You will then enjoy your lunch meal in an outstanding restaurant in Luxor and then at night move with your tour guide to enjoy:
Luxor Temple is one of the most beautiful temples to experience at the grace of the night sky. It was built around 1400 BCE during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, the temple was known as Ipet-resyt, meaning “The Southern Sanctuary.” It was dedicated to Amun and closely connected with the renewal of kingship. With its graceful columns, detailed decorations, and atmospheric night lighting, Luxor Temple reveals a truly enchanting side of ancient Egyptian architecture.
At the end of the day, transfer back to your hotel for the overnight.

Overnight: Luxor Hotel
Day 5: Discover the Marvels of Luxor's Valleys

The Valley of the Kings is one of ancient Egypt’s most sacred and remarkable burial grounds, created as the royal necropolis for the kings and queens of the New Kingdom period from 1570 to 1070 BC. It contains 63 tombs decorated with magnificent scenes, inscriptions, statues, treasures, artifacts, and the remains of many great pharaohs, including Ramesses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, and X, as well as Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamen. Among them, the tomb of Tutankhamun remains the most famous and most visited, alongside the legacy of Ramesses the Great. Due to its outstanding historical and archaeological importance, the Valley of the Kings was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Valley of the Queens is the burial place of many of ancient Egypt’s most beautiful and powerful queens, along with important members of the royal family. Located on the West Bank of Luxor within the Theban Necropolis near the Valley of the Kings, it was known during the New Kingdom period (1570–1050 BC) as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning “The Place of Beauty.” Like the Valley of the Kings, its exterior was intentionally simple and modest to avoid attracting looters and tomb raiders. The valley contains more than 75 tombs dating to the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties.
