The Temple of Artemis is a legendary monument that came to be around 550 BC under King Croesus of Lydia and designed by architect Chersiphron. It was destroyed by arson in 356 BC, the night Alexander the Great was born; it was rebuilt and later damaged by the goths in 262 AD. Harbor Street / Arcadian Way is a heavenly marvel that was commissioned in the 1st Century AD by Emperor Augustus and renovated under Emperor Arcadius (395–408 AD), Harbor Street stretched about 530 meters long and 11 meters wide, linking the theater to the harbor. It is believed to be among the first ancient streets illuminated by oil lamps, it was lined with Corinthian colonnades and shops, reflecting Ephesus’s importance as a major Mediterranean trade hub.

House of the Virgin Mary is a biblical miracle that is believed to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary, this stone structure dates to the 1st century AD. According to Christian tradition, Saint John brought Mary to Ephesus around 36 AD.
