Pyramid of Menkaure

The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three main pyramids of Giza, built for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty around the 26th century BC. This pyramid completes the iconic Giza pyramid trio and represents the final royal monument of the great 4th Dynasty pyramid-building tradition.

It is traditionally believed to have been built above the place where the Holy Family rested during their journey in Egypt. Its ancient crypt, basilica-style design, and sacred atmosphere make it one of the most meaningful Christian heritage sites in Old Cairo.

Ben Ezra Synagogue

The Ben Ezra Synagogue is one of the most important heritage landmarks in Egypt, located in the heart of Old Cairo near the Coptic churches. It is traditionally associated with the place where baby Moses was found and later became famous for the discovery of the Cairo Geniza, a priceless collection of Jewish manuscripts.
