Your visit to Egypt should definitely start with a fantastic tour to a great site like Giza Necropolis that contains on its land some incredible attractions and monuments including the marvelous three pyramids of the three amazing kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus.
The extraordinary pyramid of Khufu "Cheops" (2609 BC - 2584 BC) is also known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one standing that was completed in 2570 BC and designed by the main architect Henmiunu. This great tomb has a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) with 2.3 million limestones weighing a total of 6 million tons and holds the main King's chamber show showcasing unmatched architectural brilliance.
The Pyramid of Khafre is a marvelous model of the Old Kingdom, which was created for King Khafre of the 4th Dynasty on the epic plateau of Giza. Khufu’s Great Pyramid is famous for its elevated position and mysterious secrets. It gives the illusion of being the biggest pyramid, with the surviving limestone casing near its summit, thus making it appear even more commanding.
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest one out of the three pyramids of Giza, built for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty. It was the victim of many attempts at destruction. It's very famous for its balanced design and traces of original granite casing; it completes Giza’s legendary royal trio as a timeless gem of Old Kingdom architectural grandeur.
While being in the Giza Complex, you will also check one of the best ancient sculptures ever built by a man, and it is known as the mythical Sphinx that has the head of a man and a body of a lion, and it belongs to Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC), the son of Khufu. Between the paws of the dream, Steele of Thutmose IV has been placed there in 1401 BC.
You will also have a look at the fantastic location of the Valley Temple, which was the main site for the ancients to operate their spiritual & mummification operations on the bodies of their dead.
After finishing your gorgeous tour with us, we will take you to a special oriental restaurant where you will enjoy the best lunch meal ever.
The Grand Egyptian Museum is a magnificent billion-dollar cultural treasure that is aligned with the colossal pyramids of Giza and spans nearly 490,000 square meters. It serves as a gateway to 5,000 years of history, illuminating the artistry, spirituality, and enduring legacy of ancient Egypt for generations to come. It bridges ancient Egypt and modern innovation through advanced architecture and immersive storytelling.
GEM is designed to have one of the biggest conservation centers in the Middle East, along with research labs and educational facilities dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage.
