Day 2: The Ethereal Treasures of Giza Complex
You will have your breakfast at your hotel, then meet your tour guide and begin the exploration of this unforgettable journey by casting your eyes on a scene that has captivated humanity for millennia.
Back in 2600 BC, the greatest civilization on earth created one of the most breathtaking collections of archaeological wonders ever known, a majestic plateau crowned by three great pyramids and the legendary, epic Sphinx.
The Great Pyramid known as Khufu’s Horizon is the most unique construction ever created in history, designed by Khufu’s main vizier Heniunu in 2570 BC, it took 27 years to build, becoming the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and remarkably, the only one still standing. Rising to 147 meters (481 ft), it remains, still today, one of the tallest buildings in existence. Step inside and you’ll discover its spellbinding inner world: the Queen’s Chamber, the soaring Grand Hall, and the sacred King’s Chamber
The mythical Sphinx narrates the epic legacy of King Khafre, who constructed this monumental statue between 2558 and 2532 BC. Carved from a single giant piece of limestone, it is famous worldwide as the most ancient monumental sculpture on the planet, bearing Khafre’s face and the fictional body of a prehistoric lion, an eternal symbol of royal power and mystery.
The magical Valley Temple was created for the sole spiritual purpose of guiding the great members of the Fourth Dynasty toward the heavens. Many sacred rites, such as the Opening of the Mouth ritual and the Mummification were performed. The temple is made entirely of granite, including massive granite pieces brought all the way from Aswan, a feat of devotion and craftsmanship carved in stone.
The billion-dollar Grand Egyptian Museum is a golden structure loaded with priceless treasures, perfectly aligned with the celestial pyramids of Giza and spanning nearly 490,000 square meters. More than a museum, it is a gateway to 5,000 years of history, illuminating the artistry, spirituality, and enduring legacy of ancient Egypt for generations to come. It beautifully bridges ancient Egypt and modern innovation through advanced architecture, artistic vision, and immersive storytelling.
Designed to include one of the biggest conservation centers in the Middle East, the museum also features research labs and educational facilities dedicated to preserving Egypt’s heritage. Here, everyone can marvel at iconic treasures such as the Hanging Obelisk, the 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from Tutankhamun.
After ending your experience at the Giza Pyramids, lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then, proceed to visit the oldest pyramids in Egypt.
The Saqqara Step Pyramid is a celestial wonder of grand architecture: a masterpiece created by Imhotep, the high priest of Ra and the Chancellor of the Pharaoh. It was constructed between 2670–2650 BC during the Third Dynasty, this was the first of its kind, built to become the earliest large-scale cut-stone construction in existence. It features a vast courtyard filled with epic ceremonial structures and intricate decorations, echoing the very first steps of monumental pyramid-building.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo to relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast, then prepare yourself for a brand-new adventure to witness the most famous Alexandria tourist attractions in the coastal city of Alexandria. Travel in comfort with your Egyptologist tour guide in a private A/C car, and begin your day with:
The Catacombs of Alexandria, a.k.a Mound of Shards, was built in the Greco-Roman period between the second and fourth centuries, and later became one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. The divine Pompey’s Pillar is a captivating granite Roman triumphal column found in the eastern corner of the Serapeum of Alexandria. It was made between 298–303 AD. It was raised to honor the great legacy of the Roman emperor Diocletian, and it still commands the skyline with timeless grandeur.
The rarest archaeological wonder in Alexandria is the epic Qaitbay Citadel, an important defensive stronghold set along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It was constructed from 1477 to 1479 AD. It was built using blocks from the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, which once stood on the same ground until an earthquake struck in the 11th century. The citadel showcases some of the most unique examples of Islamic architecture, where history and the sea breeze meet in one unforgettable panorama.
Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant, then move to visit:
The marvelous Alexandria library is an epic cultural center stretching across the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and serving as an honorable commemoration of the ancient Library of Alexandria. Opened to the public in 2002, it offers a pathway into a world of knowledge with a collection of 8 million books, along with various museums and art galleries, all within its vast 20,000 square meters (220,000 sq ft) space.

The highly Unique Unfinished obelisk of Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) is a monument destined for greatness, yet cracked during the granite carving process. It weighed a thousand tons and would have reached 41.75 meters (137.0 ft), even intended to stand at the grand entrance of Karnak Temple.
The divine Philae Temple is a golden book of myths set in stone which was built during 380–362 BC by Nectanebo I, one of the last native Egyptian rulers, it was later expanded by Ptolemaic kings, Ptolemy II Philadelphus, Ptolemy V Epiphanes, and Ptolemy VI Philometor, between 282 and 145 BC, to honor Ammon-Osiris and Isis, the Lady of the House and goddess of Motherhood.

This sacred landscape holds 63 underground tombs of the greatest pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom (16th to 11th century BC), including Ramesses the Great, Seti I, Tutankhamun, and more. Beyond its beauty, it remains a cultural treasure that reveals invaluable insights into the funerary practices and mythological beliefs of that era.
The timeless Hatshepsut Temple came into existence during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1473–1458 BC), who created an enduring masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture dating back to 1479 BCE. Her magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to the creator sun god Amun-Ra, was carved directly into the golden cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, built to stand the test of time as a breathtaking reflection of her power, vision, and achievements.
The two everlasting golden seated giants of Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon, date back to 1350 BC. Each statue rises to 18 m (60 ft) and once stood as guardians at the entrance of the epic Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III, a temple that no longer exists. Through centuries, these statues inspired countless Greek and Roman travelers and later Egyptologists, remaining an unforgettable symbol of endurance.
Then move to have your lunch on an island, so your tour includes a boat trip on the Nile River. End your journey with a tour to:
The Majestic Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious compound on the face of the earth, preserves the everlasting spiritual legacy of ancient Egypt. Spanning 247 acres, it was built over 2000 years from the start of the Middle Kingdom through the Ptolemaic Period (1971 BC to 30 BC). The Hassan II Mosque of Casablanca is a modern architectural triumph completed in 1993, dramatically set above the Atlantic Ocean. Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau and brought to life by master artisans from across Morocco, the mosque is a masterpiece of devotion and craftsmanship. Iconic landmarks such as Rick’s Café, Mohammed V Square, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the bustling Central Market offer vivid glimpses into the living soul of the city.
You then continue by private vehicle to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital, where history and modern governance exist in graceful balance.
The striking Hassan Tower stands as a powerful reminder of Almohad greatness. It was commissioned in the 12th century by Caliph Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, it was intended to form part of one of the largest mosques ever envisioned. Construction halted after his death in 1199, leaving the 44-meter minaret framed by rows of unfinished stone columns, silent witnesses to an unfinished dream of grandeur.
The serene Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the final resting place of King Mohammed V, offers a moment of reflection since it was completed in 1971 and designed by Cong Vo Toan. This dignified white-marble monument houses the tombs of King Mohammed V, King Hassan II, and Prince Abdallah. The tradition of painting its alleys in blue tones, widely embraced from the 15th–16th centuries, carries spiritual symbolism often associated with the sky, heaven, and serenity. Influenced by Andalusian and Jewish traditions, the medina’s narrow lanes, stepped pathways, and graceful arched doorways glow in layered hues of sapphire and indigo. This cooling, tranquil palette has become Chefchaouen’s defining identity and one of Morocco’s most photographed historic urban landscapes.
You will have your lunch and enjoy your magical trip to:
Outa el Hammam Square is the beating heart of the old town and a space that has served for centuries as the city’s central social and cultural gathering place. The square is anchored by the Kasbah of Chefchaouen, constructed shortly after the city’s founding in the 15th century. Its striking red walls create a vivid contrast against the surrounding blue streets. Framed by cafés, traditional restaurants, and artisan shops, the square reflects the authentic rhythm of daily medina life, from the ritual of pouring mint tea to the warmth of evening conversations. Between the 14th and 18th centuries, Rissani thrived as a powerful trading center linking Morocco with sub-Saharan Africa.
