Giza Pyramids Complex

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex is an astral landscape of eternity that has stood since 2700 BC, preserving the immortal legacy of Egypt’s 4th Dynasty. Rising from the desert like sacred geometry carved into the earth, this timeless plateau embodies the boundless ambition, authority, and spiritual vision of Egypt’s royal builders.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of King Khufu (2609–2584 BC) is a celestial marvel filled with enigma and wonder. It was conceived around 2570 BC by his brilliant chief architect and vizier, Hemiunu, and it remains the only wonder out of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Constructed over many years by 400,000 free skilled workers laboring in organized shifts, the pyramid originally soared to 147 meters, formed from 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing nearly 6 million tons in total. Hidden within its colossal mass are architectural marvels, the Queen’s Chamber, King’s Chamber, the soaring Grand Gallery, and other refined structural elements that continue to astonish scholars and visitors with their precision and mystery.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is an eternal watcher, also known as Horus of the Horizon, guardian of the plateau since the reign of King Khafre (2558–2532 BC). Measuring 73 meters in length, 19 meters in width, and 20 meters in height, this colossal figure unites the serene face of the king with the powerful body of a lion, symbolizing divine wisdom and royal strength. Between its paws rests the Dream Stela of Thutmose IV, placed there in 1401 BC, telling a legendary story of prophecy, destiny, and sacred kingship.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple

The golden mortuary Valley Temple of the 4th Dynasty reveals the sacred rites that prepared kings for eternity. This remarkable structure unveils the ancient rituals of purification and the mummification process, offering rare insight into Egyptian funerary beliefs and the spiritual practices that guided the soul’s journey to the afterlife.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum is a monumental modern milestone created at a cost of one billion dollars under the shadow of the Giza pyramids. Perfectly aligned with the pyramids and spanning nearly 490,000 square meters, this extraordinary institution unfolds 5,000 years of Egyptian history beneath one roof. It houses one of the Middle East’s largest conservation centers, alongside advanced research and educational facilities. Among its highlights are the breathtaking Hanging Obelisk, the towering 11-meter colossus of Ramses II, and the complete collection of over 5,000 artifacts from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, displayed together for the first time.

The radiant Saqqara Step Pyramid is a divine creation of total innovation that earned the title of being the world’s earliest large-scale stone monument. Commissioned by Pharaoh Djoser (2649–2611 BC) and designed by the visionary architect Imhotep, this six-tiered pyramid rises 62 meters high. It introduced the first fully planned pyramid complex in history, marking a revolutionary turning point in architectural design and humanity’s quest for immortality.

The High Dam

The High Dam

The great Aswan High Dam is a monumental feat of modern engineering, completed between 1960 and 1970. This colossal structure transformed Egypt’s future by taming the Nile’s annual floods and generating hydroelectric power that fueled the nation’s industrial growth. Beyond its technical achievement, the dam reshaped agriculture, strengthened the economy, and improved daily life across the country, standing today as a proud symbol of Egypt’s resilience and modernization.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a giant still cradled by the granite quarry where it was born. Commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), it was intended to rise at the entrance of Karnak Temple as the largest obelisk ever created. When cracks appeared during carving, the monument was left in place. Lying exactly where ancient craftsmen left it, the obelisk offers a rare, almost intimate look into the stone-cutting techniques and bold architectural vision of ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings is a sacred burial ground hidden deep within a holy mountain. Created during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), this royal necropolis was designed to protect the tombs of Egypt’s most powerful rulers from the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties. Within its depths lie 63 magnificently decorated tombs, adorned with vivid scenes, sacred texts, and symbolic artwork belonging to legendary pharaohs such as Tutankhamen, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II, and many others. Each tomb reveals profound insights into royal beliefs about the afterlife, immortality, and divine order.

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut Temple

The magnificent Hatshepsut temple is a vision of beauty and one of the most elegant and best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. Known as the Shining House of Amun, this masterpiece was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1507–1458 BC) and carved directly into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari beginning in 1479 BC, a process that spanned 15 years. Designed across three grand terraces linked by two wide central ramps, the temple rises seamlessly from the desert floor, reflecting harmony, strength, and refined architectural genius. Its graceful design stands today as a lasting symbol of royal authority, innovation, and beauty.

Colossi of Memnon

Colossi of Memnon

The legendary Colossi of Memnon are two gigantic statues depicting Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1349 BC) that were resurrected countless times across history. It was constructed in 1350 BC, these colossal figures were originally carved near Cairo and transported 700 meters to Luxor to guard the entrance of the now-ruined mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Over centuries, the statues were rebuilt multiple times and gained fame during the Greco-Roman period for the mysterious “vocal phenomenon,” when one statue was said to sing at dawn. Along their sides, finely carved reliefs depict the Nile god Hapi and his family, celebrating abundance and unity.

Construction unfolded over centuries, from the Middle Kingdom through the Greco-Roman period (2000 BC–30 BC), across an immense 247 acres. The complex dazzles with monumental features such as the Avenue of Sphinxes, the towering Great Hypostyle Hall, and countless pylons, chapels, and sanctuaries, together forming one of the greatest religious complexes ever built by human hands.

Aït Ben Haddou

Aït Ben Haddou

Rising from the landscape like a vision from another age, Aït Ben Haddou appears as Morocco’s most iconic ksar, a fortified village steeped in myth, history, and natural splendor. Renowned for its extraordinary preservation and dramatic hillside setting, this UNESCO-listed site is a powerful window into life on the desert’s edge. It was built entirely from sun-baked earth and clay using traditional southern Moroccan architecture. Aït Ben Haddou once stood along vital caravan routes linking the Sahara with Marrakech. Its design reflects its defensive purpose, with tightly clustered homes, narrow winding alleys, and fortified walls climbing in tiers up the slope.

Inside, a maze of passageways, ancient granaries, and elevated viewpoints reveals how desert communities once lived, traded, and safeguarded their precious supplies. Its epic scenery and authentic atmosphere have also made it a favored backdrop for world-famous productions, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Prince of Persia (2010), The Odyssey (2026), and the television series Game of Thrones, among many others.

Following your visit, the journey continues toward the gateway of sahara, Ouarzazate, where vast desert landscapes begin to stretch toward the horizon. After breakfast, your international quest unfolds through two of southern Morocco’s most breathtaking landscapes. The road guides you into the enchanting Dades Valley, often known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, where ribbons of green oases weave between rugged cliffs, traditional villages cling to hillsides, and sculpted rock formations create a landscape shaped by time and nature. The drive continues onward to Todra Gorge, a dramatic limestone canyon where towering vertical walls rise high above the valley floor, forming one of Morocco’s most awe-inspiring natural passages and an ideal setting for memorable photos and gentle walks.

By afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, the threshold of the Sahara and home to Morocco’s legendary dunes. As the desert air softens and the sun begins its descent, you’ll embark on an unforgettable camel trek at sunset, gliding across the sands as the dunes shimmer in shades of gold, amber, and copper. The rhythmic pace of the camels carries you deep into the desert, leading to your secluded camp nestled among the rolling dunes.

As night falls, a warm welcome awaits at the camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the open sky, then settle in for a tranquil overnight stay in the Sahara Desert, where silence reigns, stars stretch endlessly overhead, and the vast dunes cradle you in timeless stillness.

Meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your second day in the Sahara is dedicated to uncovering the desert’s soul and the remarkable life that flourishes within its vastness. The day begins with an exploration of the Erg Chebbi dunes, an endless ocean of sculpted sand where towering ridges rise and fall, and shifting light paints the landscape in ever-changing tones of gold and amber.

The adventure continues with visits to nearby nomad villages, offering a rare glimpse into traditional desert life preserved through generations. Here, you’ll discover how families live in harmony with the harsh environment, guided by deep-rooted customs, resilience, and a profound connection to the land.

You’ll then be immersed in the hypnotic rhythms of Gnawa music, a powerful cultural tradition with African origins. Performed with ancestral instruments and soulful chants, the music carries across the desert, creating a moving and unforgettable atmosphere.

The remainder of the day is yours to rest, whether by embracing the stillness of the dunes, enjoying a quiet walk across the sands, or simply resting at the camp. As evening settles over the Sahara, return to your desert camp or lodge for another peaceful overnight stay, where silence, starlight, and the vast desert horizon complete this magical experience.

After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to the Sahara and set off westward, passing through Alnif, a quiet desert town that marks the natural transition between the dunes and Morocco’s fertile valleys. As the journey unfolds, the scenery slowly transforms, wide, arid plains give way to shades of green as you enter the legendary Draa Valley, the longest river valley in Morocco. Lined with endless palm groves, timeworn mud-brick villages, and ancient kasbahs resting along old riverbeds, the valley tells the story of life sustained by water in the desert.

The drive itself becomes part of the experience, revealing Morocco’s remarkable shift from Saharan vastness to oasis landscapes. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the serene Skoura Valley, a peaceful palm oasis known for its quiet charm and kasbah-studded countryside.

Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy a restful overnight stay in Skoura, surrounded by date palms, soft desert air, and a sense of calm before the next chapter of your adventure.

"We had a great experience touring Aswan, Edfu, and Luxor with Mahmoud. I would highly recommend him as a guide. He adapted to our needs (2 teenagers) and kept everything interesting. He was always prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with. He was also very prompt answering questions via WhatsApp"

"We would like to share our wonderful experience with Egypt Tours Portal. From the very first quote to our final airport drop-off, we were impressed by the professionalism, organization, and excellent communication from Walaa and the entire team. Our tour guides in both Luxor (“Habibi” was the best!) and Cairo were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about sharing Egypt’s history and treasures with us. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully the itinerary was planned — allowing us time to rest in the afternoons, scheduling visits during the cooler hours, and remaining flexible to accommodate our needs. Everything was smooth, well-organized, and made our trip truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend Egypt Tours Portal to anyone looking to discover the incredible history, culture, and wonders Egypt has to offer."

"We had an outstanding time touring Luxor with our guide, Essra. She was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind throughout the entire experience. Her explanations of Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon brought Egypt's history to life. What really set her apart was her thoughtfulness. She made sure we stayed comfortable in the heat, surprising us with water and refreshments. She also took us to an excellent local restaurant that we never would have found on our own. Her attention to detail, genuine care, and passion for sharing Egypt made this one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Luxor. On another note, the drivers we had each day were great. So professional, always on time and personable."

"The best experience of my lifetime! Nour, the tour guide was absolutely amazing! Went over and beyond thinking about every little thing. I had a mishap and Egypt Air overbooked my flight and bumped me to a later flight causing me to miss an entire day of activities. Nour made sure I got to do every single thing I missed that first day. But that’s not all: his knowledge of old Egypt is unparalleled, he truly brings Egypt (Aswan Luxor) alive. I’ve traveled all over the world and met many tour guides: Nour stands apart from all of them. He’s also considerate, caring and genuinely wants his guests to enjoy the trip and learn the most about the incredible history of Egypt. He’s also funny and genuinely great to be around. Please, do yourself a favor when booking a trip in Upper Egypt and ask for Nour. Hands down the best guide ever!"

"Our experience in Egypt, especially in Luxor and Aswan, was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide Omar. We cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he was exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and deeply passionate about Egyptian history and culture. What made our tour extraordinary was that our guide is not only a master’s in Egyptology but is also currently pursuing a PhD in Egyptology. His depth of knowledge was absolutely remarkable. He is also very creative and artistic. Every temple, tomb, monument, and historical site came alive through his explanations. He did not simply recite facts, he explained the historical context, symbolism, religious beliefs, architecture, and fascinating stories behind everything we saw. It truly felt like we were traveling through ancient Egypt with a real scholar and expert by our side. He brought ancient Egyptian history to life by assigning us the roles of Egyptian gods and legendary heroes. Through these interactive mini-plays, we were able to experience, understand, and truly connect with the stories he shared. In Luxor, visiting Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and Hatshepsut Temple became an unforgettable educational and emotional experience because of the way he explained the history in such an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. In Aswan, his insights about Philae Temple, Nubian history, and ancient Egyptian civilization added so much depth to our trip. He answered every question thoughtfully and with incredible detail, and you could genuinely feel his passion for Egyptology. Beyond his academic expertise, he was one of the kindest and most caring people we met during our travels. He constantly made sure we were comfortable, safe, hydrated, and enjoying ourselves. He was patient, attentive, organized, and always willing to help with anything we needed. His warm personality and kindness made us feel welcomed not just as tourists, but as friends. He also paced the tours perfectly, allowing us enough time to truly appreciate each site without ever feeling rushed. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the trip. Thanks to him, our visit to Egypt became far more than a vacation. It became an unforgettable journey into history and culture. If you are planning to visit Luxor, Aswan, or anywhere in Egypt, choosing this guide will be one of the best decisions you can make. He is truly exceptional, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had him as our guide. Thank you again for such an amazing experience. We will never forget it. Marianna and Khris"

"We had a wonderful experience with the 5 day cruise. The price is wry reasonable. The best part is that the visits are done in very small numbers with a guide. It is almost like having a private guide. The food was good with lots of variety and all the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Omar Haradi, our guide was very knowledgeable and very generous with his time and with sharing his knowledge."

"We just returned home from an incredible trip to Egypt, and we cannot say enough good things about Egypt Tours. From the moment we booked our trip until the day we flew home, their communication, organization, and attention to detail were outstanding. Our adventure began in Cairo, where we were warmly welcomed at the airport by our guide, Abdulrahman Mosbah. He immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease, and our Nile River sunset cruise was the perfect introduction to Egypt. Abdul’s warm personality and infectious enthusiasm made our first day both fun and memorable. The following day, we toured with Reda Elgendy, who brought the pyramids to life with fascinating stories and historical insights. Seeing the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) was truly breathtaking and a highlight of our time in Cairo. In Aswan, we were greeted at the airport by Ahmed Haggag, who guided us over the next two days. Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough in his explanations, and always kept us entertained with his great sense of humor. We learned so much while enjoying every moment of our time with him. Our final stop was Luxor, where we met Ghada Kamel. Saving the best for last, Ghada was absolutely exceptional. Her passion for Egypt’s history and culture made our visits to the temples and the Valley of the Kings unforgettable. She was engaging, informative, and truly outstanding. This trip exceeded all of our expectations. Not only did we experience some of the world’s most amazing historical sites, but each of our guides also shared valuable insights into Egyptian culture and daily life. We returned home with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Egypt, and gratitude for the amazing team at Egypt Tours. We highly recommend Egypt Tours to anyone planning a trip to Egypt. It was truly the trip of a lifetime!"

"Our trip in May 2026 was fantastic! We saw all the major wonders of Egypt! Our incredibly knowledgeable guide Walid Ahmed met us at the hotel and was great at explaining all the particular uniqueness of each tomb and temple, inserting background myths and stories, keeping our tour on track, taking and sharing so many pictures so we could be in them as a couple and helping us navigate local customs. We strongly recommend Egypt, the tour and Walid!"

"We had a wonderful week long vacation in Egypt, split between Cairo and Luxor. The tour was very professionally run with excellent communication starting weeks before our arrival and then nearly daily while in Egypt. A highlight was our English-speaking guide in Luxor, Walid Ahmed, who was extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally kind. The tour was flexible and accommodating, allowing last minute special detours and restaurant choices. Overall, it was one of the best vacations of our life."

"We had Ahmed Refaat as our family guide in Cairo, and he truly made our trip to Egypt unforgettable. His positive attitude, passion for Egypt’s history and culture, and incredible patience made all the difference throughout our stay in Cairo.
