Saqqara step pyramid is a magnificant marvel that was built between 2670 and 2650 BC for Pharaoh Djoser. It is designed by Imhotep, Egypt’s first recorded architect and later deified as the god of wisdom. This six-tiered structure marked the dawn of Egypt’s monumental stone architecture. It stands at 62 meters tall, it laid the foundation for future pyramid construction and opened the way for the great pyramids of Giza.

At the end of your day, you’ll be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our representative, escorted to your hotel, and checked in for a relaxing overnight stay.

The Aswan High Dam is a monumental achievement of contemporary engineering and a defining project of Egypt’s modern industrial era. Constructed between 1960 and 1970 in collaboration with the Moscow-based Hydroproject Institute, this groundbreaking structure was designed to regulate the annual Nile floods, secure irrigation water through the creation of Lake Nasser, and generate hydroelectric power that helped propel Egypt into a new age of development. 

The Unfinished Obelisk is a colossal, silent giant made of granite left frozen in time within the quarries of Aswan. It was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC). This unfinished masterpiece, known as Tekhenu, meaning “to pierce the sky” was intended to reach an astonishing height of 42 meters and weigh approximately 1,200 tons. It would have become the largest obelisk ever carved and positioned at the entrance of Karnak Temple. A crack in the stone halted its construction, leaving behind a powerful testament to ancient precision and ambition.

Philae temple is an architectural treasure dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood, magic, and healing. It was built between 380 and 362 BC during the reign of Nectanebo I in the Ptolemaic period. The temple beautifully preserves the classic ancient Egyptian style. Its walls depict the legendary Myth of Osiris with exquisite artistry. Rescued from rising waters during the construction of the Aswan Dam and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island, Philae Temple stands as one of Egypt’s last grand temples of traditional worship.

The main temple of Ramses II is world-famous for the Sun Festival, during which, twice a year, on February 22 and October 22, the first rays of the morning sun penetrate the inner sanctuary, illuminating the statues of Ramses II, Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, a remarkable alignment that reflects both astronomical precision and religious significance. Beside it stands the smaller temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari, his cherished consort, honoring her alongside the goddess Hathor, embodying love, beauty, and maternal grace.

Karnak Temple, a.k.a Ipet-isu (“The Most Selected of Places”) and Pr-Imn (“House of Amun”), is the largest religious complex ever constructed by human hands in existence. Hagia Sophia is a masterpiece famous all over the globe for its glory, beauty, and craftsmanship. Hagia Sophia was constructed in 537 AD under Emperor Justinian I. It has stood through the ages as a Byzantine cathedral, later transformed into an Ottoman mosque, and now stands as a celebrated museum. It is found beside the Red River (Kizilirmak), the oldest river in Anatolia, Avanos has been crafting pottery using its naturally rich red clay for over 3,000 years. Visitors can wander through cobblestone alleys, relax in riverside cafés, and watch master artisans skillfully shape clay using techniques handed down through generations, preserving a living tradition of Anatolian craftsmanship.
