Giza Pyramids Complex is worldwide known as being the most visited archeological site all over the world, and the reason behind this is that the ancients managed to establish there some of the greatest achievements ever made by any human; it is something magical and can be done only in science fiction movies, but the ancients were able to actually turn it into a real great ancient achievement. The story behind the construction of the three pyramids is really interesting, as your guide will explain all the details to you.
After taking some interesting photos on the spot and touring around the Great Pyramids, you will find yourself in front of:
The heavenly Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) is a very blessed creation that stood the waves of time and honored the legacy of his achievements by constructing a colossal final resting place that faces the four cardinal points of the compass and holds a grand height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft) for 3800 years since it was established in 2570 BC by his man vizier Henumiun. The rocks used to create the pyramid were taken from different corners of Egypt, and many mysteries still revolve around the creation of this colossal piece of art.
The Pyramid of Khafre is a glorious and commanding monument on the Giza Plateau, built for King Khafre of the 4th Dynasty around the 26th century BC. Although it is slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid of Khufu, it appears taller because it was constructed on higher ground, creating a powerful visual presence across the plateau. Its surviving limestone casing near the summit offers a rare glimpse of how the pyramids once looked when they were covered in polished white stone, reflecting the brilliance, authority, and architectural mastery of Egypt’s Old Kingdom.
The Pyramid of Menkaure stands out for its elegance, balance, and refined royal design while being the smallest of Giza’s three main pyramids. Built for King Menkaure of the 4th Dynasty around the 26th century BC, this pyramid once featured a distinctive lower casing of polished granite, traces of which can still be seen today. Standing beside the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre, it completes the legendary Giza pyramid trio and represents the graceful final chapter of Old Kingdom pyramid building on the plateau.
This is one of the most interesting sculptures ever built in the world by Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC), and although so many countries tried to imitate it, none of them have actually reached its great size and its amazing details.
